Cézanne at Jas de Bouffan / Musée Granet, Aix-en-Provence: A special selection of 100 paintings and drawings, gathered from around the world, highlights Cézanne’s deep connection to his family home. This exhibition is part of a city-wide tribute to the artist in Aix-en-Provence, and visitors can explore Cézanne’s recently renovated house and charming studio, Les Lauves. June 28 – October 12
Louvre Couture / Louvre, Paris: A stunning and innovative exhibition dedicated to fashion. Until July 21 (free entry on the first Friday of every month). The Louvre, which has been undergoing renovation and expansion for ten years, will now have a gallery dedicated to the Mona Lisa. Don't miss it!
Notre Dame Reopened: After years of meticulous restoration, Notre Dame Cathedral welcomed visitors again on the weekend of December 7-8, 2024. This occasion marked a significant milestone for Paris and for admirers around the world who appreciate this iconic Gothic masterpiece.
Notre Dame has been welcoming visitors again for two months. A free online reservation system has been implemented to manage the expected crowds, allowing visitors to reserve time slots 24 to 48 hours in advance. However, obtaining a ticket can be a challenge during this busy period. The experience can be overwhelming due to the large crowds, making it difficult to connect with the rich history and beauty of the cathedral. Guided tours will not be resuming for the time being, and as we understand the desire to appreciate the history and art of the place, we encourage you to explore some of the stunning alternative churches in Paris. One gem we love is the Sainte-Chapelle, a stunning Gothic treasure adorned with 1,113 fascinating stained glass windows.
